Tiffany and Derek are planning their wedding at the family ranch in Mathis Texas. We decided the ranch would be the perfect location to take engagement photos! We chose the day and of course it rained for three days straight before hand. We went ahead and braved the mud with everyone wearing huge boots. The weather was beautiful and the session was fun despite the mud (and I kept my equipment clean!)
Easy Tiger bakery and beer garden in downtown Austin. This was my first time to shoot at Easy Tiger so I was a bit hesitant. I’d only been a few times and didn’t know exactly what to expect. Once we arrived I was quickly pleased with their decision! It ended up being great. We hung out for a while, visited, took some photos and then we hit the streets and just wandered around downtown. I absolutely love this session. I’ve shot in downtown Austin millions of times but we found new places and photos, which I instantly knew were killer, and it was all very casual and comfortable. I’m looking forward to Pamela and Andrew’s wedding this month in Waco. Cheers!
The Lodge at Bridal Veil Falls in Spring Branch for their outdoor wedding ceremony. The venue overlooks the water and has some beautiful waterfalls that are behind the ceremony site. The day was windy and cool for the wedding and that kept everyone comfortable. We took amazing photos of the couple and the wedding party standing on the rocks in the middle of the water! At the reception the couple enjoyed great BBQ, fun music and a photo booth. We were able to sneak outside for a few night time portraits; they are some of my favorite of the entire collection. At the end of the night the couple had a sparkler exit and officially started their next chapter together as husband and wife!
Take a look at these photos. Can you tell they were taken in Corpus Christi? Megan was lucky enough to find a friend that had some property with a nice barn and lots of greenery and that is exactly what she wanted for her Corpus bridal session. We were still in the city but if feels like we drove out to the country. The day was hot and humid and we had mosquitoes everywhere but that did not stop us from getting some killer bridal portraits. I’m finishing up their wedding so be on the look out for those photos coming up soon!
